This article is the best I have come across to list the most common reasons for unhappiness. The reasons being:
- Lack of meaning in life
- Obsession with past or future
- Feeling out of shape and unhealthy
- Comparing oneself to others
- Focusing on negatives
- Perfectionism and fear of failure
- A low self esteem
- All Work and no play
- Neglecting personal relationships
- Procrastination
These are the ones that hog my brain on a day-to-day basis eating away my happiness. Just acknowledging the presence of these issues is enough. A solution to fix this will be on its way.
